Making of Rhino

When planning rhino a year ago I thought it would be good to also introduce a conservation message, as it wouldn’t hurt the video, if anything it makes it better. Anyway, in terms of trying to get locations, it has been a disaster, although we have an amazing video to show for it. It is so far from the initial vision location wise. Concepts, intro and outro shots are exactly as imagined. I have phoned around some of the most miserable people in Birmingham, not going to name and shame any organisations yet, but I was a bit disappointed. Positive time, due to our team, Jamie Bell, Holly Routley, Katie Lea Stevenson, Loretta Hope and me we have a brilliant video that does exactly what was needed. We worked through a hot hot day, the dancers where incredible to get everything we needed especially after we got moved on from a wasteland in Birmingham (can’t film there, why? …) you know the usual, Money. Loretta Hope was also incredible, making sure everyone was fed and watered as well as fixing some really really bad makeup smudges on set, due to heat and paint running. So it was successful and we are all happy with the video.
